I love my weekly fix at Yoga mums, not only has it eased my sciatica during my second pregnancy, but that bit of ‘me time’ every week really calms my mind and soul. I would certainly recommend this class to all expectant mothers.

I joined the Yogamum antenatal class when I was 24 weeks pregnant with a bit of trepidation as I’d just moved to the area and wasn’t sure how else to meet people and I’m so glad that I did.Angela does everything to create a wonderful warm welcoming atmosphere that allows you to relax during the sessions and certainly helped me to drop my worries and get to know the other fab ladies in my class.
I ‘ve always been a bit “hippie-phobic” and previous yoga teachers have done nothing to calm this fear so I was a bit unsure of trying again but I knew I had to do some form of exercise during my pregnancy and so I bit the bullet. I need not have worried – whilst yoga and it’s principles obviously flow through Angela’s veins, she has a sparkling delivery, making it fun when it should be – near hysterical in places – but serious when it’s needed also to ensure that you get the very best for you and your baby from the sessions.
I was unsure about attending formal antenatal classes with my husband as he’s not the sort of person who appreciates being lectured and has a very short attention span so Angela kindly arranged a private session on breathing techniques and how I could use my yoga during the birth and how he could help me. It was the best decision as my husband was able to ask questions without feeling stupid in front of a crowd. He used so much he’d learned during the 38-hour labour with our lovely daughter and was far more relaxed because he knew what he could do to help.
I’ve now started the massage classes, which are excellent not only because I’m yet again learning skills to help my baby and give me more confidence as a mother, but also as i’ve met up with the ladies from the antenatal class again!
Phoebe is transfixed by Angela’s voice during the classes and always falls asleep during the relaxation so I can only assume that she recognises her from when we did the antenatal classes and I’m convinced that she’s a calm and contented baby because I had a calm and relaxed pregnancy so thank you AngelaEmma Cobb-Webb
I would never have signed up for a class but thought that as this was free I would give it a go. I was really surprised to find my baby so responsive and I am a convert! I now massage him about 3 times a week in the late afternoon and it helps him remain calmer for longer and I enjoy the bonding time with him. Dad occasionally does it too. He loves it and always smiles when he knows it’s massage time! Thanks Angela.

Just a quick email to thank you and commend you in providing such a fantastic service with your mum and baby yoga classes. I have recommended you to all my mummy friends and they agree that your classes offer an invaluable opportunity for some much needed one to one time.
Life as a new mum is frantic, busy and stressful and it has been wonderful to devote an hour each week just for him and me. The combination of massage for baby and breathing and yoga for mum is a perfect balance and we both leave your classes feeling soothed – no matter how sleepless the previous night has been! It has also been a great opportunity to meet other local mums to share stories.
I look forward to hearing from you with details of your active baby yoga classes.

‘The baby massage session helped me and my baby to bond, was a great place to meet other mums and gave us an activity that we could take home and do to relax together and build into our routines. Angela is a great teacher and helped us to feel comfortable and at ease.’
Emily Leavy from Baby Massage class
my daughter loved the exercises and singing with all the other babies and I really enjoyed being able to practise yoga again with her

“Baby yoga was brilliant! There was a good mix of activities which focused on mum and baby. It helped me particularly with my posture and lifting a growing baby and it was a great new experience for my baby who enjoyed all the different exercises and the songs that accompanied them. It was a very positive experience and very interactive and I would highly recommend it to others.”
Clea Beanland (and Bertie) from Shipley class
“…would also like to say that we think yoga is great and look forward to our sessions every week!”
Deb Bassett (and Ethan), from Otley Mum and Baby class
“The mum’s only class is a great chance to relax and unwind, have some much needed me-time and focus on those muscles that need some work after the birth.”
Angela Noble, from Otley Post Natal Yoga Class
“…just wanted to say how much I am enjoying the classes. You create a really wonderful space and atmosphere. Whilst the content of the class feels inclusive of the babies I also genuinely feel I am doing something for myself. It is probably the first time I believe I can reclaim my body! It is great to feel like this whilst I am with Maxwell – I am enjoying the times I manage to go swimming on my own but don’t want every feeling of ‘freedom’ to be dependent on being without him. Does that make any sense?! Thank you!”
Sarah Smith (and Maxwell) from Otley Mum and Baby class
“yogamum is a brilliant class for mother and baby. Many of the things that we have learnt have helped me get my daughter to sleep and anything that can do that is amazing. Thea is so relaxed after each session that I will be signing up for more, thank you Angela!!!”
Ele Barker (and Thea), from Otley Mum and Baby class
