Mother and baby yoga
I offer Mum and Baby Yoga classes in three locations every week - Menston, Ilkely and Otley. The standard Mum and Baby class is open to all. We have had babies as young as 4 weeks in the class, but typically people start from between 8-12 weeks onwards.

Thursdays 11:15-12:30 St John Ambulance Centre, Otley
Who are they for: Babies from 6 weeks to crawling
These friendly classes are mix of practices for you and for your baby.
You will learn techniques to stretch, stimulate, sooth and relax with your baby as well as practices to help your own posture, regain core strength and increase your energy levels.
A typical mum and baby yoga class starts with some warm up stretches and songs for the babies. The time in most classes is split into three types of practices – one third of the time focused on the baby; one third focused on the mother and one third on practices for the mother and baby together.
I find that this way the babies get a little rest between practices and do not get over stimulated but there is enough activity so they are not bored. You the mother also benefit from taking some time to focus on your own body. By ensuring that you are fit and healthy you can put more energy into your time with your baby.
